Italian mock badge

A series of badges from the Arkansas company included humorous badges. On these badges the Austro-Hungarian bucks used to teach the enemy’s soldiers a lesson. Besides the Serbian, Russian and Romanian insignia, the Italian one could of course not be missing either. The rectangular form was characteristic of the series. On this badge the soldier of the Monarchy is in the process of slapping his bersaglieri on the ground. The inscription on the badge reads Italian front 1915-17. In other words, the badge was made in 1917.
