Kappenabzeichen on postcardsMen at arms

IR 95 (2)

The 95th was a Galician regiment. Its command was located in Lemberg, and received staff from the Czortków area. It was a regiment of the 11th Corps. According to the sources, in the last peace order of 1914, it was classified in the 30th division within the corps. It causes a little confusion that other sources state that during the war it belonged to another division of the corps, the 11th. The higher unit assignment of some regiments or brigades could change, not often, but it did happen.

I wrote briefly about the 95th Infantry Regiment here. Now I’m uploading another wearing photo, as well as the correspondence card decorated with the Kappenabzeichen of the disabled foundation.
