2. Army Qartier Abt.

Among the army Kappenabzeichen, there are those that belonged to a smaller functional section of armies or army corps. Thus, for example, medical institutions and hospitals belonging to one of the armies (11 altogether in the Monarchy) often had badges. Such an insignia is also the one of the department responsible for quartier of the 2nd Army.

Such badges are of course much rarer than general army insignia. The insignia of Lt. Col. Csiki’s agricultural group was already shown here. The current special army badge is accompanied by a special field postcard.
