Romanian funny badge
To enthuse soldiers and the general public badge producers designed funny propaganda badges. The main motif of Arkanzas’ badges is the Hungarian private who teaches the enemy soldier a lesson in various ways. On the badge published in this post, a Romanian soldier is the suffering party. Before he kicks him out, the Romanian is going to be spanked with the bayonet to learn order. The battle sites listed at the bottom of the badge are the sites of major clashes between the late 1916 counter-attack. Invading Romanian troops in Transylvania were beaten at these sites. On the background photo Romanian soldiers with double-peaked hats march in the Carpathians.
In another picture Romanian field gun is shown together with the personnel.
There is another funny badge from the Romanian front, but the soldier on that seems to be a Russian guy!
This is that badge.
